We got out of work early today, so some of the other interns and I went to look at a super cute little shop called Mango on our way to the subway. Over priced (as most things are in NY) but still cute. They had a lot of really different dresses and jewelry.
We also tried out a Chinese restaurant called Andy's in Brooklyn Heights not too far from our housing. It was good, but the customer service was horrible. Our waiter fought with Amanda (an intern) over an order that was wrong. It is ridiculous.
After dinner we hit up Target to get a few things and called it an early night. We have all kinds of plans for tomorrow, so we didn't mind ending so early. Brittany and I are relaxing after our first full week of work. Only 9 more to go! This summer is going to fly by!
But the most exciting thing that happened tonight was our first official rat sighing in the subway. The rat was probably the size of a rabbit and sent us all into squeals. Kelsey (an intern) got a video of it (thank you mark. for providing us with flip cams) so I will have to see if I can get a copy of it to post.
