From One "Galaxy" To The Next!!

Yesterday was my last official day of work at Galaxy Associates for the summer. I thought it was just a normal day at work, however, I was wrong. I was surprised with a little "Good Bye and Good Luck" Lunch. =)

Originally, my Mom was going to meet my Dad and me at the office and go out for lunch. So when my mom arrived at Galaxy, I wasn't surprised to see her. She sat in my Dad's office until he was ready to go, but meanwhile, there was some suspicious activity going on in the kitchen.

Usually when we are having an event in the office, I am the one to help Tracy (the Assistant) prepare for it, but yesterday, Rick (an Intern) was taking care of everything. I started to wonder what was going on, but didn't know exactly what it was. When my parents were ready for lunch, they asked me if I minded if we stayed in the office because Mr. Oeters (the President) had bought everyone pizza before the Holiday weekend. Of course I didn't mind--who doesn't love free pizza? Especially LaRosa's!

Once sitting down, I found out that this little lunch was to celebrate my internship and wish me good luck for the summer. My parents were excited to surprise me with this lunch rather than their "plan" of taking me out. Tracy had even made a slideshow showing my accomplishments at Galaxy. My biggest and best accomplishment was completely organizing the Accounting Department desk and getting it back on track! That took so much work and boy am I proud of it now!

We all enjoyed our pizza, ate Buckeye pie, and shared stories about NY during lunch that day. It was so great to see everyone support me as I head off to the big city! I really appreciate them putting together something so nice for me. I can't wait to come back to Galaxy and share all of my experiences!

THANKS GALAXY ASSOCIATES!!

Rankings!!

I just wanted to update and share success from my past event! About a week ago, I had a huge mark. fundraiser for the Club Softball Team here at Xavier. It was so much fun, and I had a great turn out. Tons of friends came to look at products, try on mark.'s new Rio fashion line, and to get make-overs done by my friend, OSU Campus Rep, and make-up artist--Kristiauna. Because of this fundraiser, I was able to officially make my "mark." at XU!

Hard work really does pay off because--(dah dah duhhmm)--I have have made the rankings! Below are the rankings for National Sales Reps and Northeast Sales Reps. Currently, there is a contest for the top National Reps going on through July. The top 6 Reps win a trip to Brazil for themselves along with one friend! If I can keep my sales up--I could be going on this trip! What a great reward!
