Sixth Weekend Already!

Here are some picture of the girls out on Friday night after a long work week! We had a great time with some of Haley's (an intern) friends!

On Saturday, we went to Williamsburg to a store called The Buffalo Exchange. This is a consignment shop with tons of great designer's fashion, gently used, at an affordable price! We had a blast digging through all the racks. Can't wait to go back and see what bargains I can find. Maybe at the end of the summer, I might just sell some of my own clothes there!

After Williamsburg, we headed off to the Guggenheim Museum. This museum "is a well-known museum located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It is the permanent home to a renowned collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern, and Contemporary art and also features special exhibitions throughout the year. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, it is one of the 20th century's most important architectural landmarks."

Here are a few pictures of the inside of the building. It was awesome because the building is a circle! There are no steps, but just continual ramps leading you around and around as you look at the exhibts. I found as you went higher with each floor, the creepier the artwork became. So cool!

I'll write about my favorite work soon! There were just too many that left such impressions on me.

After the museum, the girls went to a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown called Joe's Ginger. This was Ashlee's (an intern) favorite. They are known for their soup dumplings. I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about them. Sorry Ashlee! Here is the sign outside the restaurant and then me with Ashlee and Makenzie at dinner.
